You’ll stay in remote and beautiful locations during your safari including Vuma Hills Tented Camp where you can experience life under canvas while sleeping in a comfortable bed and at Udzungwa Hondo Hondo Forest Camp. Hondo Hondo borders pristine rainforest with excellent views of the forest canopy which is home to a number of primate species including the endemic Udzungwa Red Colobus, the remarkable Sanje Crested Mangebey, and the Black and White Colobus.

DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM - MIKUMI

Early morning pick up from your chosen location, hotel or accommodation and drive to Mikumi National Park which is approximately 5 hours from Dar es Salaam. You’ll arrive at Vuma Hills Tented Camp in time for a hot lunch then after lunch we’ll go for a game drive. Accommodation: Vuma Hills Tented Camp. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

 DAY 2: MIKUMI - UDZUNGWA

We’ll get up for an early morning game view drive in Mikumi when the wildlife is active. After breakfast we’ll depart to Udzungwa National park with packed lunchboxes for our 90 minute drive. On arrival, you’ll enter and your guide will go into Udzungwa National park to hike in the Udzungwa Mountains, visit the waterfalls and swim in the cool water hole at the base of the falls. In the late afternoon, you’ll walk back to the Udzungwa Hondo Hondo Forest Camp. Accommodation: Udzungwa Hondo Hondo Forest Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

DAY 3: UDZUNGWA/DAR ES SALAAM

 After breakfast we’ll take you back to Dar es Salaam. You’ve had a quick taste of the wildlife and natural beauty of Southern Tanzania and we can guarantee it will be a trip to remember.
